250 TXT pro - up to what year are parts compatible?

Featured Replies

My 2002's engine is scrap (cracked cases) - assuming a new engine or c/case are too expensive, I'm considering buying another TXT pro, so I'd have complete bike for spares.

So what is the latest model I can get before GG made fundemental changes?

Cheers

The crankcases have not changed. Frames, plastics, cycle parts, etc have been modified and updated but bikes made before the 2011 frame change are fundamentally the same as yours.

Not quite right

the frame is different from 2009 as its the tubular style, the 2011 is just an update on the 2009. I think the frame was largely unchanged from 2002 though to 2008 so may be possible to fit forks / shock / radiator etc from later models to your 2002 frame if you wanted.

Yep, the frame changed in 2009 for the 2010 model, but the tank, airbox, exhaust, etc remained the same until the latest model.
