Revs sudden drop

Several times today the revs suddenly dropped on my 4RT while I was sitting in a queue waiting to go in to a section. The bike seemed ok all the rest of the time but I've never noticed it before. Is it a symptom of something waiting to fail?

    Water in fuel?

    Could be as it was quite wet through one section. I'll check the air filter and air box for signs of water when I clean it during the week.

    Could it be potential symptoms to anything else?
