December 18, 201015 yr Going to look at my first trials bike tomorrow a 2003 beta 125 rev 3but a carn't find any spec or reviews on that year bike, can anyone help please, as I dont know what I should look out for
December 18, 201015 yr Hi Mike 125cc are for very light riders and the younger ones really..... If your are of a bigger size i would look for a 200cc +. Having said that they are good bikes and the normal fault with betas is the strator... If you search on the beta forum you should find some information. All the best Cheers

December 18, 201015 yr Hi Mike Fair play to you at 67 ! BIG CLAP The 200cc (i think) would be ideal good smooth power and less peaky than the 125cc (others may agree) But i think it would be a lot more forgiving and easier to learn on ... Cheers
December 18, 201015 yr Thanks for you reply, I'm 10 stone and 67 years old and was looking for some thing that wont bight me to hard and it's just to try and see if I can still ride one Well you are the right weight for a 125 but I would suggest that the power characteristics won't be appealing to you (I'm from essentially the same era as far as riding style goes)with a 200 being much better, much like an old fashioned 250 in my experience. I doubt whether you'll find one though as they are British market only as far as I am aware.

December 18, 201015 yr Hey Mike, Fair play to you, 67 and back on the pegs, i am a born again dabber. I can highly recommend the Beta what ever the cc. i have a 270 and find it very usable, but i suppose its how much you twist your right hand. Cheers, Tom,
