Heavy Duty Spring Availability? No bike chosen yet...

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

This is just a general enquiry as to what the general availability of heavy duty springs for the rear suspension and also forks are for most bikes, I am most likely going to be ending up with something like a 2002 - 2004 bike, and more than likely a Beta or Scorpa. I have been riding bike trials for the past 7 years and know how much having a bike setup correctly for the rider makes a huge difference, and hence wanting to be able to get the appropriate springs for the bike when I get one, I am currently around 19st, although aiming to get around the 18st mark!

Are there any other little things that heavier riders have done to make there bikes withstand them a little better? I am also 6ft4, so will be playing with handlebar positions etc quite abit.

Thanks

Adam
