Hi I think most people use 5w some people dabble with 10w if they are a bit on the heavy side! Rij

I think the manual says Bardahl or Bel-Ray 5wt. All 5wts are not the same. They all have a different centistoke value even if the bottle says 5wt. Use this chart to get an oil thats close to the oem oil.

cheers liviob just checked page 49 on the manual. as per your post no joy on your link though.im kinda hoping the pj1 is a little heavier. but will use it now ive got it thanks.

Try this link. This chart will take most of the guess work out of suspension tuning. I found approxamatly 1 1/2 to 2 centistokes change equals one click adjustment on japanese forks.
