January 22, 201115 yr Hi all, I`ve just finished rebuilding my early fantic 125, its a W reg, has a silver frame and has a large bulb shaped tank. Whilst I had the engine apart I found it had been converted into a 175 using a suzuki piston. I also found it had holes drilled in the barrel and head, as its road reg I guess this means its done scotland. I`m interested in finding out who rode it and wondered if there is anybody who would know who rode one of these if I gave the reg number. Hopefully someone might be able to help.
January 23, 201115 yr Author No SSDT numbers on the rim after this time I suppose? Not sure, cant say i`ve noticed any, what exactly have I to look for?
January 24, 201115 yr A blob of paint with a number marked in it by a precision tool a bit pointy stick. Could also be found on the forks or casings but you would have seen those by now.
