Does anyone think its worth considering having a clubman route at the Novogar trials.

It would help make up the entry numbers as most clubmen I know find the single route is often too hard for our riding standards.

We all know the clubman route in a lot of trials makes the event worth running financially.

It may also encourage some of the better two route nationals to think about being a round of the series.

Now its not called the clubman championship I can't see any reason not to consider it.

An absolutely spot on idea. If the Colonial is anything to go by the entry there was 67 on the easier course. If there was enough takers then it would be possible to get the over 40 championship swapped from the classic series and that would be good all round.

Yes having an easier route and putting over 40 series and air cooled mono series on it would make sense. These two classes are not suited to the same sections as Pre65 and twin shocks.

This is a very good idea. I would ride a National Clubman series if the severity of the sections was similar to the likes of the Colonial and Cleveland Trials.

I'd like to ride the cleveland but never get in, guess it shows the popularity.

Is the Cleveland generally easier than Novogar then? How many routes? What level?

I thought it would be slightly harder - never ridden it, I moved away from the area just before I got to road legal age. Always fancied going back up for it.

Do you think the Novogar could handle the extra entries?

Lomax usually packed out, Victory last year was cluttered, fair bit of queueing at the Vic Britain. I didn't ride them all last year. Can it take that many entries, seems pretty popular now?
