TY250 Mono Starting

Featured Replies

Hi...My TY250R mono starts 2/3 kick and ticks over fine, once I kill the engine walk a section and go back to kick it over it wont start, I've tried leaving the petrol on/off but no joy, anybody else experienced similar ?

I had a 350 version that had a similar problem and it turned out after a lot of expensive trys to be the 3 pin connector in the wiring under the tank. When the bike got warm this expanded and broke the connection between both parts of the loom until it cooled and contracted allowing the electrics to work

best thing to do was to cut both and wire direct, worked perfect after that
