EVO Front Forks

Featured Replies

Hi all

Can somebody advise me ,what the two adjusters are on top of my EVO fork legs, and what do they adjust?

Cheers

There's been a few questions along this sort of line recently. Don't Beta issue anything with their bikes nowadays? Even Bultaco managed a small bit of card with the basic adjustments explained.

If your stradling the bike as if to ride it the left fork leg is the compression damping leg and contains the spring. The adjuster on top of it controls spring preload. If you turn it clockwise you get more spring preload. The same as adjusting the spring preload collars on the rear shock. The fork leg on the right is the rebound damping leg. The adjuster on top of it controls rebound speed. Turning the adjuster clockwise gives you a slower rebound speed.
