March 2, 201115 yr I've been told there is a difference, but to be honest I don't think there is the slightest bit, I'm using the gold ohlins on my evo & it's fantastic.

March 3, 201115 yr what are the diferances between the gold and silver ohlins that are available [apart from colour] You should try the TRP , i am very happy with this shock and you can adjust the rebound with out remouving the fender.
March 3, 201115 yr ben do they mount the same way up as a std shock eg: rebound adjuster at top Hi, I have mounted mine the opposite way round with the rubber bump stop at the bottom, (I saw a picture of it on that way on a website)But I have seen a few lads who have mounted them the same way as the original shock with the adjustment rings at the bottom.
