just taken the flywheel cover off my 2010 evo 4t and

there is water in there, i am going to clean it all up

and fit a new gasket and silicone up the cables going

in. i am ok the spray wd40 in there before i refit the

cover ?

I would blow it out with a airline first then spray wd40 in!

take off the cover after every ride and blow out with an airline , youll find lots of water in there after you have power washed it, when i got my first beta i tried allsorts to stop it getting in but you cant! in fact ive drilled the bottom of the casing to let out most of it before i take it off to clean it out ! then spray wd in and put he casing back on and your done! (till nxt time)

mines a 4 stroke you cant take the casing off after every ride

as you would need to replace the gasket every time
