March 15, 201115 yr Dunno about 'pants' but trousers maybe Motocross trousers seem to be baggier and have no padding for knee protection BUT room to put some decent Knee protectors in. These are possibly a better option? Trials trousers appear to fit like a ballet dancer, are made out of bobbins stretchy material that tears, gets 'weird' when wet, and burns on the exhaust. They also have no knee protection (some have a bit of foam that is useless)... However, somebody out there may know of a decent set of trials trousers????. Other than somebody knowing of a decent make, you may as well wear any old pair of trousers rather than specific trials type.. unless you have a thing for lycra. Edited March 15, 201115 yr by Rosey
March 15, 201115 yr Not seen much MX clothing but I think the main difference is Protection. The MX stuff doesn't have so much as they tend to wear "armour", whereas Trials clothing has padding built in. I think this is due t the speeds. The Trials stuff wouldn't be much good falling off at speed but at the low speeds we do is perfect. MX Armour would stop you moving around the bike and place weight further up the body making balance difficult.
March 15, 201115 yr These look a bit cheaper Trousers my advice would be buy a size larger than you take in trousers as they are "snug".
