Hi,

I have recently put a new fan in my trials bike thinking that fan motor had gone. However apparently not. When the bike is hot it won't cut in and when you short it out it sparks (so there must be power) but the fan will still not run.

Any help or suggestions!?

are you are shorting out the wires at the thermostat.if not do it there and the fan should work. if not check the fan is o/k by checking it with a 12v battery.

Yes at the Thermostat. I think thats what im going to have to do, it just seems strange that it would happen to my old one and a brand new fan?
