April 15, 201115 yr getting a new clutch pack from buxton either tomorroww or monday as clutch slipping on the 327 1992 , changed the master cylinder and new piston in the slave all working fine but slipping , looking at the plates they are well worn and not much meat left . my question is this , do i need to soak the plates in gear/trans fluid overnight before fitting? i have heard of people doing this? regards jon

Any initial adjustments after the clutch is installed will probably be more accurate compared to installing the plates dry. Jon
