You know something here makes no sense. If this guy reckons that rollers didn't have enough clearance (rather than too much) then that would cause slip, not drag. And God knows how he went about measuring that clearance (to that degree) anyway.

Also, I've been browsing around that TT/Observed Trials forum and I've found that much of the information to be kinda off-beat. Written buy YZ "Wanna-Bea Trials rider" (one day!). I mean I'm not sure why you'd need that forum anyway....when TC is here?
