June 10, 201115 yr just got a new quadrant and idler, the quadrant and idler seem to catch, when lookin at the old quadrant, it seems to have both corners machined off, where as this new quadrant only has 1 corner machined off... does the 300 have both corners machined off?
June 11, 201115 yr Can't say for sure but think they changed this due to one end snapping off anyway..
June 11, 201115 yr If your talking about the gear that sits on the kickstarter shaft then yes. I just replaced mine and the old one had both ends machined off. The new one was only machined off on the forward side, or the side that makes contact with the idler gear first.
