I didn't know the guy personally but would like to express my condolences to the Family and Friends of the Trials Rider who died of injuries sustained at a trial last week. If riders do come off at events they should consider heading for A&E especially if they don't feel well driving home. I have come across so many riders who finished Trials and gone home with everybody thinking they "got away" with a "crash" only for them to turn up speculating and recounting how they were rushed to Casualty with fairly serious injuries!! Take care and if you feel unwell don't take any chances.

As per the Article posted on the news page about 'Tragic Accident in North East Centre'

I rode the trial, spoke to Mike in passing before the trial started (the usual, 'Hi there, hows it going'). I can say I'm completely shocked by this...

My condolences via this to his wife and family. A good day's sport shouldn't end like this.

Just read. Not nice that for a day of fun as you say to end your life, must of been a tough guy to continue riding after breaking ribs!
