Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Gary Whitaker and John Lampkin Imports. They kindly accepted that there had been a defect in a kickstart that had broken on my bike and replaced it immediatly. The part was over a year old. So many companies would have said 'that's tough' but Beta have come up trumps once again. Beta seem to get a bit of a pasting on this site with stories about stators failing etc but I have found Beta Uk brilliant in all regards whether it be sales or simply advice on bike set up. I wish Gas Gas would do the same with kick start quadrent gears. They break all the time and even if ones break after a few months they won't replace it. Same part number for years and still not fixed it let alone get warranty on it.
