hi could anyone out there tell me how i can tell the age of a beta 250 techno as a friend has just got one but has no real idea what year it is . i think it could be a 95/96 but not sure.

In the UK...

The 95 model year was blue, they had upside down front forks and a four piston rear brake caliper.

The 96 model year was grey, they had the right way up forks and a twin piston rear caliper.

The 97 model year was purple.

The 98 model year was black with a modified rear mudguard.

The 99 model year was red/silver.
