Hi,

Has anyone had any dealings with a company called Locktons for personal accident cover?

They`re the ACU`s insurance broker apparently. Here`s a link to members insurance on the ACU website. Its the Advance Trophy cover I`m looking at:

I always thought that a part of your entry fee, at ACU/AMCA trials events, went towards rider personal accident insurance to cover the rider if they injure themselves severely enough to require hospital treatment. I now know this is not the case.

Normally with personal accident cover if you mention "motorbikes" and/or "competition" in the same sentence the broker runs a mile. Locktons seem to be ok with this, soooooooo, any thoughts?

    I know that locktons have involvement with rallying, and provide on event cover for competitive events.
