September 17, 201114 yr hi guys, im looking to get back into trials again, i used to ride alot a few years ago but due to family commitments had to sell my bike, i did have a 2005 beta 250 it was bought brand new at the time sold it 2 years ago. iv been looking at different bikes and im having a hard time deciding which one to go for.. my budget will allow me to get an 05 / 06 model bike im leaning towards the gas gas 280, anyone have or had this bike? whats it like to ride, maintenance, parts??? other bikes i like are the sherco 290 or possibly a 2006 beta 270.. anyone who has or had these bikes recently i look forward to ur responses cheers
September 17, 201114 yr If it was down to me i would have 270 beta! gas gas fall in bits & are only any good when new!save a bit more & get a Evo.
September 17, 201114 yr Had an '06 & a '08 Rev-3 250's. Loved both but GG is a lot lighter. Have an EVO now and they are light like the GG but still have the Beta solidness. '06 GGs had the Ohlins shock if I remember correctly.
September 17, 201114 yr I have a 05 TXT280PRO and love it never let me down apart from sevice parts and tyres no problems at all
