Organic Pads for Beta?

Featured Replies

I find Beta brakes to have less feel than the Sherco AJP. Does anyone make soft/ organic pads for Betas. EBC made soft pads for Sherco but I don't see them for Beta.

I know many people like their brakes to have a sharp feel but like yourself i like mine to offer a little larger window of feedback before locking. I havnt found any softer pads, however i have found that heating them up until they fade will soften their bite. After doing this a few times they seem to have just the right feel. I ride in very mountanas terrain and overheating my brakes happens often when im heading back to the van after a ride.

sounds really nice ..I.m jealous already good point though. I also have to make the observation that it is the master cylinder which is different between my wifes bike (beta evo) and mine (sherco ST) the sherco braked being the best of the two.

These are the cross reference numbers that I am aware of.

My front brake is sharp as hell! How do I soften it off. It is like a light switch. Locked or rolling, nowt between.

Have you just filed off pad material? If so by how much?
