November 15, 201114 yr How good was that pivot turn! Awesome. Agreed, a lost art...replaced by a thousand hops
November 16, 201114 yr Proper riding... not spectacular like huge steps, but less mindnumbing... I mean thats a 22 second clip and he's just breezed through the section. If it was current stuff we'd have probably seen 22 seconds of minders gestures to rider and engineblipping and revving before launch I think this type of stuff makes the semi keen spectator think .. 'Hey I'd like to try this!'... not 'Wow thats a bit step, but knacks to that! I've got to go to work tomorrow!'. Trials has moved on though and I don't see any set of rules getting it back to this style. Hopefully the classics boys ride like this though!
November 16, 201114 yr Hopefully the classics boys ride like this though! I incorporate at least one of those in every trial....
November 16, 201114 yr I incorporate at least one of those in every trial.... What? the balls or the skip?
November 17, 201114 yr What? the balls or the skip? Well, I've definitely knocked my own balls up a few times trying to do pivot turns like that...
November 17, 201114 yr Well, I've definitely knocked my own balls up a few times trying to do pivot turns like that... Yeah I know the feeling.. I've knocked my balls about more than once whilst trying to pivot turn a skip
November 17, 201114 yr thanks for posting Martin, he seemed to really be charging at the section, had forgotten we used to do that, probably in second gear the whole section, the floater was sweet!
November 17, 201114 yr Yeah I know the feeling.. I've knocked my balls about more than once whilst trying to pivot turn a skip I thought you was going to say whilst playing Tiddlywinks.
