November 23, 201114 yr I've just replaced the kickstart gear on my 09 300 pro. I'm just wondering how the shaft goes back on? I watched a video by jim snell which says it needs a full anticlockwise turn before it goes into place. Mine seems to go into place with about half a turn. Any advice?

Any advice? hi there i have just done 2 of them t day and both of them had a full turn that gives the tension on the kick start did you get all the linning up ok when u put new gear on as they go on a certain way ..?
November 23, 201114 yr Author Yea I got the dealer to put the gear onto the shaft when I was buying it. I'll have another go and see how I get on. Cheers
