December 2, 201114 yr Any reason why I cant use Avgas in my Premix for a 2008 rev3 2t? I am trying to stop what seems like pinking on a light throttle.
December 2, 201114 yr I would try the Shell V Power first as Technowaldo said, But yes people have used AV and Blue gas but not sure if it would help your pinking.

December 3, 201114 yr Increasing the octane will likely cause a loss of power I noticed my 07 is a bit sensitive to fuel, if it's even 2 weeks old I get a detonation at higher rpm with mid throttle openings Fresh fuel is a lot better but is still has a minor tendency to ping Richer on the needle helped a bit, I will try richer on the main, I suspect it's just the wrong needle or needle jet that is the cause
