Hey Guys ,i've got a 1998 Montesa 315r, its got the Paioli forks, right now for the issue! at the top of the legs there a 2" long aluminium ring that holds the fork seals, i've split the one on the right leg????

Advice,, do i

try and get a new one?

try and get another fork?

or

take the ring of and get it welded?

or am i being thick and theres an earyer option?

trust me to have this problem over Christmas, there's bugger all on ebay at the moment, i've sent a few companies emails and lets hope they reply
