Rear rubber flaps..

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone and Happy new year to you all.

Is there a longer rubber flap available for the back of the air box on the 2012 TXT, the little one fitted offers no protection to the rear shock. I've seen longer ones on sale for older models but can't source anything for my bike.

Cheers :icon_salut:

I have had trouble with them working loose, and I lost one on my 2011 125 so I bought some rubber and cut out re-stuck so why don't you buy some rubber and cut to a bigger size to suit.

Another good search of the internet today came up with nothing.. so I'll probably end up making my own - thanks for the info Mik60ish

This is what I bought for my 2011 250 I opted to put the original back on, keep the new one as spares, and will use this as/when the need arises. I cleaned up the airbox, and plastered glue on both the box and flap, left to go tacky, and then reapplied-and it's working fine. The replacement is longer though, so would cover the shock nicely down to the swingarm (until it gets eaten up by the rear tyre?).
