tezza Posted January 2, 2012 Report Share Posted January 2, 2012 Hi Guys, well i have just sold my trusty 03 Sherco 290, I just got my best result in a local boxing day trial so I thought it's time to treat myself, I had no idea which way to go, I wasn't to keen on the sherco been 5 speed, massive step from 3rd to 4th so that sort of put me off the sherco's, Anyway I have dived in a bought a 2011 Beta 290, 8 months old and road registerd, I think I got it cheap Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was going to get an new ossa from appleyards £4999, but when I had chance of the Beta I couldn't see the ossa been £2000 better. I toyed with a 4t but was told they have massive engine braking and can have a habbit or putting you over the bars if you shut off to quick dropping off rocks ect, completley different riding style, for me it was better the devil you know.
