Identifying a cylinder

Featured Replies

Hello,

Could someone help me identify this cylinder? It's NOS for an air-cooled Beta. The casting imprint shown in the photo indicates the number 90 which I think that might be the year of manufacture. Of special interest is that there are intake boost ports and the exhaust port is a single oval port. I've seen photos of TR34 cylinders and it doesn't seem to be from that model. Is it possibly from a TR35 or ST? The color is grey and is the original paint.

Looking at more recent Beta cylinders, the number would represent the year the cylinder was cast. It would be for a bike manufactured in 91 or 92.

Thanks! Then my guess is that it's a '91 TR35. From photos I've seen the '90 TR35 had the tan/gold colored engine.
