January 16, 201214 yr Hello i,m new to all this so please help me out,ive bought a gas gas 250 to get started with,i was told its a year 2000 (frame number is VTRGG0293 etc)i need to buy a couple of oil seals and a hose for the cooling system,but i dont know which model to order bits for ,so can anybody help me out or is there any tell-tale things to look out for? cheers
January 16, 201214 yr Just off hand I`d say it is a 93. The 93 had paoli forks with the gold seal holder. I believe the engine cases were also a gold color. The 2000 had gasgas forks and besides the plastics were chrome and silver.

January 17, 201214 yr If its a '93 it will have silver upside-down forks & red engine cases, this was the last year they used upside-down forks.
