February 8, 201214 yr Hi All, I'm due an oil change which is its first since I bought the bike. I would like to replace it with the same oil as this is the best feeling clutch I've ever used. I'm not sure if its so good due to the oil or if its down to a good clutch, but i'd like to keep the same oil. Its not discoloured either, its always remained green. Problem is, I've no idea what it is. Anyone know of a green gearoil? Dextron that I've used before is normally red and normal engine/gear oil is brown, so whats this? Any ideas? February 8, 201214 yr Could be Motul 300v full synthetic motorcycle oil. Works great in sport bikes I think they make it in a 10-40 and 15-50 I could be wrong tho
February 8, 201214 yr Hi waynerobshaw,I have an 05 Raga & I use Motul 300v 5/40 4T in my bike as advised by "Al the spanner winter"who used to work at white Bros darlington.He also uses this in his own bike so it must be good.It is green almost like a flurecent colour.hope this helps
February 8, 201214 yr Author jdmoto79, slack - Sounds like Motul 300v then! Yep, a fluorescent green colour. Sounds expensive stuff, but it if works as well as whats in at the moment, it will be worth it! Not a common oil mention around here though... Edited February 8, 201214 yr by waynerobshaw
