    Scorpa is a pretty reliable bike for a grand, Yamaha engine. Beta Rev 3 are pretty hardy beasts if your willing to look you will probably get a nice one again for a grand.

    Gassers are too light for their own good. Expect a gearbox failure at some stage. Go Beta and budget for new stator for when it dies. Cheaper than gearbox issues.
