February 13, 201214 yr Hi all, Just bought a Montesa 123 from a friend. The bike was standing as-is for years, it's about time to bring it back to life... The frame number is MH123-00047, not sure about the year... I assume it's 1972 as the number looks like the very first production batch? Looks like many parts are not the original parts... Can anyone tell me more about what I just bought? parts sources etc.? Thanks! Lior.
February 14, 201214 yr It's not an early 123, it's an early "MH" 123. After Honda bought Montesa, they put out "MH" bikes starting in 1980. Are you kidding me? A Corvair in Israel? I'm a 123 guy AND a Corvair guy, both the earlier versions...

A Corvair and a Montesa are rare/none in Israel, no more than one hand is needed to count both Lior.
