G'day, I'm looking at buying a trials bike to hone some skills on and I have found this fantic on evilbay;

That's the only picture supplied. The price seems pretty good, but I will have to have a squizz first.

Main things; what year and what model is it. Any particular downfalls/issues with this model? What should I check out when buying - ie cracked frame, cases, footpegs etc.. Parts availability?

Early 90s K-Roo by the look of it.

1. look at fantic page on here under what fantic. i had a k roo like this in 1991 (blue & yellow) mine was a 250cc good powerfull bike.
   
2. The only problem i had was when it got very hot it spat coolant out of the water expansion tank and i had to top it up. Radiater was in the frame under the fuel tank. steve.
   

nearly all 90's fantics where prone to breaking to the rear of the crancases where the swingarm spindle goes through. check around that area as cases are hard to come by now.
