Ohlins Rear Shock Worth The Dosh?

I've been looking at purchasing an ohlins for the rear of my 2011 evo. Something i've noticed a fair few people do.

-Are they worth the money, will it give me more adjustability?

-What is the difference between the gold and silver versions apart from colour?

Thanks

Hugh

Defo, the gold bodies are the newer models, silver models could be a few years old but if they have been overhauled, be good as new.

Some suppliers sell with a standard spring, if you want a harder spring, an additional £80.00 of anyones money.

Good luck, you wont look back.

definetly better, depends on how good/rich you are whether its worth spending the money,The standard shock's good enough for most, but benefits from a heavier spring from sxs if you're 13 stone +

Damping takes a big hit better, and is more plush with better feel on the smaller stuff.Damping is adjustable, make as slow or fast as you like.Better build quality, maybe slightly lighter
