April 19, 201214 yr I see a 96 Beta Techno 250 for sale. Just rebuilt, seals, tire, etc. Good price for its age. Anything to watch out for with these bikes? It'd make a nice loaner for my sponge buddies.
April 19, 201214 yr bullit proof bikes, I did break my kick start lever twice, if it's conventional paioli forks the fork brace mount on the forks is weak, cracked both mine, can't get the part seperatly, had them welded and reinforced, fixed the problem. mikuni carburetor tends to overflow too easy due to the angle, fix it by relocating the overflow.
April 19, 201214 yr Fans were a bit weak on those, make sure it turns on and off correctly when warm. I had a few new Technos ( 95, 97 and 98) and never really had a problem with any of them. (And that was in the days when I rode 40+ trials a year!) My new 2004 Rev3 on the other hand :wall:
