Clutch Slow To Release

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Im having trouble with my clutch, I can pull it in and select gear no problem,, once I release it it doesn't bite until the lever is right out then a second our two and I'm off, once its out its fine.

Any ideas?

Watch the piston on the clutch master cylinder. Is it slow coming out? That or the slave side is sticking. Are you using the correct fluid. Mineral oil or dot 4?This also can happen with too much oil in the engine.
