Taking Up The Sport

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm a new found convert to the sport and would like to take it up. Apart from the obvious method of just buying a bike and practising somewhere on my own, are there any schools around that run courses, or riders that offer one-on-one tuition.

I live in the Derbyshire area.

Cheers,

Welcome!

If your username reflects your choice of car then good call

Several riders offer tuition.

Steve Saunders - Click here

Dougie Lampkin - Click here

James Lampkin - Click here

You may find that Dougie and Steve are fully booked for 2005. These things are popular! I'm not sure about Jim as he will add to his schedule according to demand.

Macclesfield and Manchester 17 organise trials training with ACU coaches.

Where abouts in Debryshire are you? You could hook up with me for some free lessons?

Try out a few vids and dvds from your local/nearest dealer.

Or Trials training

Those are quite good but you might want to start riding a bit first before trying anything like that. I ve been riding for 2- 3 years now and im only just trying out things like that.

Good Luck Mate.

Hi,

Thanks to everyone for replying. Much appreciated. I live between Derby and Ashbourne in a place called Longford (HRC 2002).

Cheers,
