May 13, 201214 yr Hi. Sorry my first post is a couple of questions but I've just started doing some repairs/service to my 315r. When I had the back wheel off I noticed that the rear disc had snapped a bolt off and the disc was loose. I nipped the other bolts up to hold it for now but my question is should it float like the front one? Cause it nipped up tight. My other question is does anyone have a link to a guide for stripping the forks down and replacing the seals? Thanks in advance Ade
May 13, 201214 yr You do not say what year The 99 315 has a floating disc but later ones may not The play on that model is 0.3mm-1.0mm Use lock tight on bolts and torque to12N m( 1.2kgfm 9lbf .ft)
May 13, 201214 yr Do not know if there is an online manual The 97/98 forks are different to the99 model The rear wheel disc bolts washers and collar are the same 97-99 according to my owners manual You may get info in the forum on the Montesa part of the site
