280 Txt Oil Change?

Featured Replies

I have a 2003, 280 txt, I want to change the oil but have had a look and found that there are 2 posible places that the old oil can come out of can you help?? I.e what are the 2 holes for?? Is one to drain the gear box oil and 1 for the engine?? if so how do i fill both and do i need to get different oil??

Lee

the hole closest to the rear of the bike is for draining the oil out of the gearbox, the hole at the front is for draining the crank, incase you get water/petrol in. just fill the gearbox with correct amount of oil
