...well I've taken the screws off and no amount of pulling, swearing and cussing can get it off....anyone have any ideas or photos of what to expect as it comes apart?

two screws from the black end cap and it should come off complete with the metal baffle tube

I had to persuade mine with careful use of a rubber hammer - it is quite a snug fit. Or you might be able to grip the black end cap in a vice and wiggle the main body.

It is very tight. Mine is a pig to get on and off.
