Changing Suspension Linkage (Dogbones) ?

Featured Replies

hi could anyone give me any advice of exactly how to refit the linkage bearings (dogbones) on a gas gas 125 2011

do you use normal or waterproof grease

any advice/help appreciated

Mick

I used a waterproof grease on the roller bearings, the rollers themselves and the outside of the sleeve. But then I use an anti sieze compound (copper slip) on the bolts and the outside of the bearing (the part that contacts the actual dog bone). The bolts are a nightmare if the sieze to the sleeve inside the bearing, and a smear inside the dog bone will help when replacing bearings next time.
