Could someone describe the difference or improvements between a 1982 240 Trial and the later 240 Professional? Is the "Pro" a better machine? I've tried to search this forum but have not been successful in finding this info.

There isn't two separate models, there were minor changes through the model life but that is all. The 240 Professional parts list I have is dated October 1981.

Thanks. Are the later ones appreciably better? Other than cracked frames are there issues to look for?

Check the Swingarm for excessive play in the pivot ... other than that pretty bulletproof ...
