September 6, 201213 yr Have previously posted a topic asking about the possible setup for a Mikuni carb. fitted to a 1982 Montesa Cota 349. On further investigation I am more confused than ever! It seems that the original spec for this carb. would have included a 5F21 needle and a 2.0 slide. The setup on my bike has a 5F3 needle with a 2.5 slide. Has anyone the knowhow to tell me what the effect of this change will have to the fuelling on my Montesa? All help much appreciated.
September 7, 201213 yr its almost impossible to tune a carb on the internet. Birkett rode montesas and hes not far from you, support your local dealer?
