Best Premix Oil?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

any thoughts on which 2 stroke oil works best in an EVO ? Also does anyone have any experience of running super unleaded in an EVO? Thanks in advance.

I use super unleaded as my bike seems to like it better (Rev3). Any fully synth oil will do at the right ratio.

Never skimp on oil quality. There are loads to choose from. Putoline do a trials specifc oil. Other just a fully synth. It all works well.

Morris do a nice smelling 2t fully synth (Like Castrol A747) without the gloop issues if your carb settings are slightly off.

Hi, I use Castrol TTS oil with super unleaded fuel 70:1. Used it for 3 years in Evo without any problems. I also used it in my Rev 3 prior to that, also no problems.

I use Bertolli extra virgin olive oil mixed at 70:1 it is smokeless, smells nice and causes the other riders to wish they rode a Beta. No fouled plugs either. Infact I use it to oil the air filter too. Seems to catch the dust just fine. If you keep it in the fridge it won't mix well or pour onto the air filter. So leave it out on the shelf. Chiao

Surely not? I use that oil on the wife but I would not use it in my Rev 3!
