October 4, 201213 yr just bought a new montesa 4rt 2hours into riding and the bike shuts down goes into limp mode then i noticed the fan shudderring but not kicking in any ideas on why this has happened
October 4, 201213 yr Take it back to the dealer and get them to sort it out, still under warranty. Is something in the fan blade area, stopping it from turning? Edited October 5, 201213 yr by shedracer
October 6, 201213 yr 2 hours use - I'm sure the dealer will happily have a look at that. Have you removed the lighting kit yourself? Later models were prone to lose the fan relay 'by mistake' when owners removed the wrong items - just a thought. If it was my 4RT I'd call the dealer, don't delay. Big John
October 6, 201213 yr Author thanks for your reply pidcocks is picking bike up monday realy good service as i was worried on taken it back my self with a 400 mile round trip ..just hope nothing else goes wrong .
October 12, 201213 yr Author yep good news my bike was returned yesterday there was a fault with the fan so i will be trying out this weekend and hopefuly i want have any other problems..
