Evo 2009 - 2013 Changes And Updates

Featured Replies

Have tried to find info about this but no success.

Do somebody know this or where i Can find this info?

I'm looking for the difference in 2010 and 2011 EVO 290.

2009 & 10 had very soft rear springs. Many people replaced them with a stronger rate spring to improve the bike.

The Two Major updates were the Frame in 2011. The Engine is mounted higher up in the chassis.

And the Bigger tank size for the 2013 bike.

Minor mods included the Rear Swing arm had a few problems on the Original EVO as they had a hole for the Stand which allowed cracking. That was fixed for 2010. Rear Wheel went Flange in 2011 (DID style). Radiator with filler in front from 2010. Air box drain hole 2011.

The engine is still the 1994 Techno albiet a few teaks, not bad run out of it as i dont think a 1976 engine would be around in 1994.

I'm about to buy a beta and I'm looking at two objects. A evo 290 2011 in mint condition, clubman bike used about ten times for about 4400

Buy the newer one if you can. You'll only regret it in 6mths time
