S3 risers what's your general thoughts and impressions. I've used them before and have seen some good riders locally using them. Just debating running stock clamps again to see the difference.

Chris has the Renthal ones as he does not trust the "hinged" variety. Main reason is that we did see a few break or get loose. We have heard of some being tightened so much the bars snap as well.

Sounds like there's a few good reasons to use different clamps. The s3 clamps do look much more robust that the standard items.
