hi, could anyone please tell me how much oil goes in the gearbox/clutch on a montesa 242/304 .

    If you put the bike level on a stand there is a level screw in the clutch casing ( flat head domed screw behind the gear lever).just top it up until the oil comes out the hole and pop the small screw back in. the clutch can be temperamental with the wrong oil in,I found putoline light gear oil to be the best, ATF made the clutch grabby with no feel once it got hot.
