May 15, 200521 yr Seen a number of lads bikes with anodise wheels lately. I think they are smart. In time is everone going to have these and are they going to become a way to personalise your bike with the different colours? I like blue.
May 15, 200521 yr Anodised rims were available on some trials/motocross/enduro bikes as standard equipment back in the 1970s (uusually gold) so it's not a new idea in itself. Just that people are having them done in different colours these days.
May 15, 200521 yr Jeez , im sure that someone has been banging on about this for 5 years or so. The thing that most said was <does silly voice> "what if you scratch them ,what if they get marked ,they will look terrible" Seems it dont matter anymore ?? Im all for brown Edited May 16, 200521 yr by marky boy
May 16, 200521 yr The '95 TYZ's had Annodized wheels in purple(!) They do look really good. Lots of people now seem to get the centre of the rim annodized and leave the outer wall silver - looks sound. If you get the wheel rims done, then get the hubs done too!
May 16, 200521 yr Steve Colley had bright orange wheel rims at the SSDT and they look the dogs ..... I don't think a clubman rider would get off with it but for the show man it looked great.
